The Huisman Trailer: our pride, your benefit
The Huisman Trailer is really unique. We developed it ourselves. Nice for us but what is in it for you?
- Minimal risk of damage as the second loading deck means that goods are not stacked on top of one another.
- Great improvements in your efficiency because you can transport up to twice as many pallets in a Huisman trailer as in a normal trailer.
- High pallets or goods will also fit, up to a height of 2.955 m.
- Fast loading and unloading times also for exceptional loads because the trailers have easy access.
Second loading deck
If required, we can fit a second loading deck on the spot. It can be fitted completely or partially, at different heights in the trailer. The maximum load-bearing capacity of the second loading deck is around 700 kg per loading metre for an even distribution of the weight.
Measurements
Our mega-trailers have a capacity of 13.57 x 2.44 x 2.955 m = approx. 100 m3.
Sliding covers
We can open both roof and side covers in a single movement, from front to back or vice versa. As the back crossbeam slides back with the roof, our trailers are also especially suitable for loading and unloading with a crane.
Sliding roof supports
The space between the supports in our trailers measures 3.20 m. However, because we can easily slide two of the three supports aside, we can also load goods with a length of up to 6.40 m from the side.
