Transport: further and faster in accompanied transport

As a part-load specialist, Huisman can offer you flexible transport solutions including fully accompanied transport for time-critical and/or high value or fragile goods. Thus, no external transfer points but door-to-door transport using our own drivers.
These drivers are well trained professionals who, thanks to our CRM system, always have the correct information at their fingertips. Whether it concerns full or part-shipments, our goal is the flawless delivery of your shipments to the recipient. By making optimal use of the most up-to-date data communication methods, we are constantly in touch with our drivers and we are able to update you, at any moment, about the status of your consignment.

The Huisman Trailer
Our trailers are well-known within the transport sector. At the moment, we have more than fifty 100 m3 trailers that we developed ourselves and which are all equipped with a flexible second loading deck. See also the HuismanTrailer.

Fast delivery times
Because we have specialised on the UK and Ireland, we can achieve exceptionally fast delivery times to these countries. There is a maximum of two working days for most destinations but, usually, it only takes one day. As a result of the warehousing and our distribution organisation and structure in Corby we can even deliver to most parts of England, within four hours. We understand the British and their way of doing business and this, of course, helps us to smooth the process. Take a look at our transit times.

ADR (part) shipments
The transport of hazardous loads in the UK is a difficult issue for many companies. Not for Huisman. We are familiar with the procedures and our drivers and planners are in the possession of the necessary certificates both for the UK and Ireland and for the Continent.

HACCP loads
Huisman is certified not only for ISO 9001 but also for HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points). This means we can guarantee that your goods will be handled, transported and, if required, stored in accordance with HACCP regulations. To prevent health hazards, we ensure that HACCP loads are loaded separately and stored in accordance with the strictest standards.
